Instructions for Disassembling the Accelerator Pedal

Model: BMW Serie 3 E46 - Years 1998-2006

Before proceeding with the disassembly of the accelerator pedal, disconnect the connector attached to the potentiometer instead of cutting the wire as shown in the video (this is likely a salvaged vehicle). The accelerator pedal is attached to a plate beneath the white plastic through a snap tab: press on the tab to allow the pedal support to disengage from the plate by sliding sideways; once the pedal with support is freed, you can complete the disassembly of the lower plate secured to the floor with pins.
