Replacing the Manufacturer's Emblem

It is quite common for the manufacturer's emblem on the hood to deteriorate due to sun exposure and/or car wash detergents; you can replace it with a new one, often available in the aftermarket. The emblem is press-fitted with two pins, so simply pry along the edges to remove it (it is recommended to use a plastic tool). Clean the emblem's seating and apply the new one by aligning the pins and pressing firmly until it fits perfectly; finally, remove the protective film.
