Want to change the front tyre of your BMW R1250 GS yourself but don't know how? Here's how to remove this wheel. First, lift the bike with a jack after placing it on the centre stand.

Start by detaching the brake calipers and then remove the bolts at the base of the forks. Now move to the central pin: unscrew the nut and pull out the bolt.

Now that the wheel is free, you can remove it and proceed with replacing the tyre before remounting it, or you can replace it with a new one if it is damaged.
