How to Change the Remote Battery in the BMW X5?

Model: BMW X5 F15 - Years 2013-2018

The remote battery for the BMW X5, type CR2032, is protected by a cover on the back of the remote. Before opening it, remove the mechanical key blade by pulling it outwards, as shown in the video. Now, open the cover and use a screwdriver to pry at the edges of the battery to slide it out of its housing. Insert the new battery, ensuring it is oriented correctly, and then reattach both the cover and the key blade.
