How to Reset the Service Light on a BMW 3 Series

If you have performed an oil and filter change on this vehicle, you will need to update the service indicator that has illuminated on the dashboard. To do this, follow the simple instructions provided in this description, and you can also refer to the video. First, sit in the driver's seat, do not turn on the ignition, press the button located on the left side of the instrument cluster, and hold it down while turning on the ignition. The display will show the word 'reset'; press the same button again, and the reset indicator will start to flash, after which the system will perform the update.
