Removing the rear door panel is very simple and does not require special tools, just some care when detaching the trim around the armrest insert and the one covering the door handle; once these inserts are removed, unscrew the screws underneath and pry along the edges to release the pressure clips: ideally, use a plastic lever, but wrapping a screwdriver with electrical tape is also a good solution; once the panel is pulled away from its location, disconnect the lock cable and the electric window lift control cable.
