How to Check and Clear All Engine Codes in a BMW 5 Series F10

In this video tutorial, you will see how to check and clear all engine codes in a BMW 5 Series F10 without any scanning tools, as everything is included in the menu. First, get inside the vehicle, keep your foot off the brake pedal, and without touching the brake, press the START button without starting the engine. The next step is to hold the button located under the speedometer on the left for about 10 seconds. At this point, a screen will appear, so press the same button multiple times until you find the "Unlock" option to unlock the menu. Hold the button until it prompts you for a code. To obtain the code for your car, take the last 5 digits of your VIN and add them together until you get a two-digit number. Now press the button as many times as the digits you reached (e.g., 18). Hold the button, and the menu will be unlocked.
