Removing the Interior Rearview Mirror

The interior rearview mirror is not just glued to the windshield; it is attached to a specific bracket that is also glued to the windshield. The mirror integrates systems such as the alarm radar and the anti-glare system, so it is designed to be removable. Lower the mirror to access the cover of the mounting bracket and reach the wiring harness to disconnect the connector. At this point, rotate the mirror counterclockwise to detach it from the bracket.
