Instructions for Filling the Engine Cooling System

Model: BMW Serie 3 E46 - Years 1998-2006
Part: Antifreeze coolant

After draining the engine cooling system and possibly flushing it, refill the circuit. Start by preparing the coolant mixture using a concentrated product to dilute according to the instructions on the package with distilled water. Check that the mixture is appropriate using a hydrometer and proceed to fill the system through the designated cap while keeping the bleed screw open to allow air to escape. Once the level is reached, turn on the cabin heater to maximum temperature to activate the electric pump and circulate the fluid, ensuring complete filling of the system. After filling is complete, check the mixture again with the hydrometer, start the engine until it reaches operating temperature, and verify that it remains stable.
