In this tutorial, you will see how to remove the rear bumper on a BMW 3 Series E46, a very simple operation. Start by removing the bolt and the plastic clip inside the wheel well, then repeat for the opposite side and proceed to remove the long lower panel. Once that is done, using a Torx T50 wrench, remove the two bolts located in the newly exposed slot and disconnect the two side clamps. At this point, grasp the bumper from the back, pull it towards you, and disengage it from the frame. To install the replacement, follow the exact reverse procedure.
