Replacing Climate Control Buttons

Model: BMW Serie 5 E39 - Years 1995-2003
Part: A/C controls

If some of the climate control buttons are damaged, you can replace the complete front panel with buttons. Start by removing the climate control unit from the console. Lift the tabs along the edge to detach the front panel and extract the electronic circuit board located just behind the buttons. Move the spacers from the old panel to the new one, then install the circuit board and reassemble the climate control unit in reverse order.
