Engine Oil and Filter Replacement

Model: BMW Serie 7 E68, E65, MK 4, E67, E66 - Years 2001-2008

Changing the engine oil and its filter is typical DIY maintenance, but be sure to dispose of the used oil at a proper collection center; slightly lift the vehicle with a jack to facilitate access to the oil pan and unscrew the drain plug (lower the vehicle level to drain the oil properly), and once the draining is complete, screw the plug back in with a new washer; then proceed to remove the filter housing cap, extract the old cartridge, and insert the new one, also applying the new set of o-rings; finally, fill the engine with new oil until reaching the maximum level.
