Replacing the battery in a BMW 3 Series, as shown in this tutorial, is an extremely simple and quick task. Before proceeding, ensure that the key is not in the ignition for safety. Start by opening the trunk, then remove the panel located on the right side, just behind the taillight. Next, remove the two mounting bolts using a 10mm socket wrench, disconnect both terminals starting with the negative, and take the battery out of the housing. To install the replacement, simply follow the reverse procedure.
