How to Reset the Oil Light in a BMW X3

If you want to manually reset the engine oil light in your new BMW X3 (2017-2022), simply follow this easy reset procedure that does not require any professional diagnostic tools. First, turn on the ignition by pressing the appropriate button. Immediately after, press the button located at the far left of the instrument panel multiple times and ensure that you see the "Trip" option on the display. At this point, press and hold the same button to access the secret menu. Locate the "Engine oil" option and press and hold again until you are asked if you want to proceed with the reset. Confirm the operation and when finished, turn off the ignition.

How to Check the Oil Level on a Jeep Renegade?
