Door Panel Removal Instructions

Model: BMW Serie 5 E60, E61 - Years 2003-2010
Part: Door trim panel

Removing the door panel is very simple and requires the removal of only two screws: one is located under the plastic cap labeled SRS AIRBAG and the other at the front of the panel, also protected by a small cap. Once these two screws are removed, pry along the edges of the panel to release the plastic clips and pull it away enough from its position to have enough maneuvering space to remove the lock rod and disconnect the various connectors and the lock release cable. Then reverse the process for reassembly.

How to Remove the Armrest on the Centre Tunnel of a Volkswagen Golf

Let’s see how to remove the armrest on the centre tunnel of a Volkswagen Golf. Unscrew the securing screws (located inside the cup holder) with a screwdriver; use a plastic lever to pry off the cover at the rear of the centre tunnel (air vents). After removing the plastic cover, unscrew the securing bolts in the centre armrest using a socket wrench. Once this is done, pull off the tunnel and disconnect any power cables. Finally, insert the new part into the centre tunnel, and reassemble all components of the glove compartment as previously disassembled.
