In this video, we can see where the fuse for the cigarette lighter socket is located in the BMW X3 F25, which is the first thing to check in case of sudden malfunction. As shown, it is located in the box inside the cabin, behind the glove compartment on the driver's side. To access it, we will first need to unscrew the screws underneath it and remove the protective panel by pulling it downwards. The fuse in question is a 20A fuse and is the second-to-last one in the bottom left column. If it is faulty, make sure to use a replacement with the same specifications.
