To replace the outside mirror on a BMW 3 Series, pry off the inner cover on the door near the mirror using a tool. Under this cover, you will find three Torx screws that secure the mirror, which must be completely loosened.

After removing the screws, disconnect the connector to fully remove the mirror from its housing. Now, insert the new mirror, securing it with the appropriate screws and connecting it to the connector.
