Starting a Car with an Emergency Jump Starter

If for any reason your car won't start, you can use a portable emergency jump starter. This device provides the necessary power to the car and can start it if the battery is completely dead. The jump starter is much more convenient than battery cables because the latter need to be connected to another vehicle. You can easily find one at any auto parts store. It should be 12 V. Charge it for about eight hours and then take it to the car. Make sure to connect the red clamp to the positive terminal of the battery and the black clamp to the negative terminal, and you will be good to go.
