Replace the BMW Remote Control Battery

The BMW remote control contains a battery that powers it, which depletes over time and needs replacing. To do this, start by removing the emergency key by pressing a button near the keyring.

Use the key to lever open the compartment that houses the battery. Using a flathead screwdriver, remove the old CR 2450 battery and replace it with a new one, ensuring correct positioning.

Close the cover by snapping the clips into place and reinsert the emergency key into its housing to complete the operation.
