It may happen that the key for our car does not work. In this case, the reasons can be multiple and related to the key itself, the ignition switch, or our mistakes.

If the key does not turn when inserted into the ignition switch, it may be damaged or may not engage properly with the pins at the correct depth to turn the cylinder. In this case, check it to ensure it is not too worn, that it does not have rounded edges, or any broken teeth, as any of these issues could prevent it from turning correctly.
