How to Remove the Air Conditioning Compressor from a BMW X3

Thanks to the help of the Auto Doc team, today you will learn how to replace the air conditioning compressor on a BMW X3. The first thing to do is open the hood and evacuate the air conditioning system. At this point, you can proceed to remove the serpentine belt and the intake components to access the compressor. Once the parts are removed, you can take off the compressor lines. Next, pull the tensioner and lock it with a tool to access the first bolt of the compressor. Continue removing all the bolts, disconnect the alternator, and remove it along with the compressor. Now you can move on to installing the new compressor.
