Locating the Fuse Boxes on the BMW X3 E83

The BMW X3 E83 has two fuse boxes: the first is located in the cabin, inside the glove compartment. To access it, open the glove compartment, rotate the two clips at the top, and lower the panel. Behind the glove compartment, there is a relay box. The relays control the horn, fog lights, air conditioning compressor clutch, fuel pump, secondary air injection pump, headlight steering control module, and power steering control module. The largest relay controls functions for the alarm system, headlight washers, interior mirror, rear window wiper/wash system, and windshield wiper/wash system. The second fuse box is located in the engine compartment, specifically in the triangular area covered by the grille under the front windshield, in front of the driver.
