How to disassemble the external rearview mirror of the BMW 1 Series

In this short guide, we will see the steps that will allow us to disassemble and replace the external rearview mirror of the BMW 1 Series. First of all, we open the front door of the car and start disassembling and removing the door panel and the triangular plastic cover of the mirror; then we unscrew the fixing screws of the mirror and disconnect the electrical connector of the glass adjustment, as shown in the video. At this point, we install the new external rearview mirror, finally adjusting the glass and reassembling everything!
