Operation: How do you remove the steering wheel airbag from the BMW 3 Series?

The removal of the steering wheel airbag of the BMW 3 Series is done by inserting a screwdriver into the appropriate holes located in the lower rear part of the steering wheel itself: once the screwdriver is inserted, it will be possible to unlock the fastening hooks located inside, so that the airbag can be released from its seat. Then it will be possible to disconnect the underlying connector, so that the airbag is removed from its seat: the new replacement part can now be connected to the connector and secured using the appropriate internal hooks.

How do I unlock the automatic transmission of the BMW 3 Series?

In order to unlock the automatic transmission of the BMW 3 Series, the Start / Stop button and the lever release button must be pressed at the same time. This procedure will allow the car gearbox to be unlocked for about 15 minutes, so that in the event of an engine failure, the car can still be moved. It may be necessary to repeat the operation more than once for its success. After unlocking the gearbox, it can return to its original state by simply waiting for the aforementioned 15 minutes, or by pushing the release lever forward for a few seconds.
