Remove the Steering Wheel on BMW 3

Do you want to replace the steering wheel on the BMW 3? Let's see how to remove the steering wheel and the airbag. Disconnect the battery terminals located in the engine compartment. Unscrew the screws at the back of the steering wheel (to unlock the airbag). Once the airbag is released (driver's side), disconnect the power connectors and remove it from above the steering wheel. Unscrew the retaining nut from above the steering wheel and remove the steering wheel. Install the steering wheel onto the steering shaft with the retaining nut, then reconnect the airbag electrical connectors: tighten the screws behind the airbag.
