The brake fluid reservoir on the 2018 BMW X1 is located under the hood. To access the reservoir, first remove the rubber gasket and then take off the hard plastic cover on top of the compartment.

To remove this cover, you need to take out the two main pins on the sides and then the small upper pins. Once the pins are removed, you can take off the cover; the reservoir is located in the upper left section.

After servicing the fluid inside, you can reattach the cover, the pins, and the gasket.
