How to Access the Brake Fluid Reservoir on a BMW X1 E84

In this video, you can see how to locate the brake fluid reservoir within the engine compartment of a BMW X1 E84. It is found on the left side of the engine bay, under the windshield, protected by a plastic cover that spans the area directly beneath the windshield.

This is not a single piece; you can remove a section right in front of the driver (in left-hand drive vehicles) by simply lifting the clips located on the sides of the first part of the cover.

Underneath, you will find the brake fluid reservoir. To open it, turn the cap clockwise, but to prevent contamination, the cap will not come out of its housing.
