To reset the window regulator on the BMW 3 Series, it will be necessary to completely lower the window that needs to be reset: after it has been fully lowered, it will be possible to hold down the button downwards for about twenty seconds. At this point, the window will need to be raised completely and the button pressed upwards for another twenty seconds or so. By doing this, the window will have been completely reset; the same operation can then be carried out for all the other windows in the car to reset them completely.
