The anti-pinch window switch light on a BMW 3 Series activates whenever the system detects an obstacle preventing the window from closing. It often lights up due to dirt on the seals or a foreign object in the system.

To reset this light, lower the problematic window all the way down. Once lowered, press and hold the button to raise it. This operation may take several seconds, but when the window is fully raised, the light will turn off.
