Part: Window motor
Operation: How to remove the window motor of a BMW 3 Series

How to disassemble the window lifter motor of your BMW and you don't know how to do it? Don't worry, let's see how to proceed together in this video. Before starting the disassembly work, let's disconnect the battery terminals. If you can't find it, don't be afraid, in your BMW it is located in the rear hood and not the front as in most cars. With a torx insert screwdriver we go to unscrew the internal door handle, being careful not to scratch it. Remove the large clip with a plastic spatula and unscrew the screw placed in the slot. Once removed, we also unscrew that of the internal door opening lever. We detach the door panel, unhook the clamps of the window lifters and speakers. Let's not lose all the interlocking clips placed behind the plastic panel disassembled first. Now that we have removed the door panel, let's remove the adhesive cover from the sheet metal. Now we unscrew the window motor with a screwdriver. We replace the piece and reassemble everything going backwards.

Handbrake adjustment on Ford Ecosport

First remove the plastic profile at the base of the gear lever. To do this, slightly widen the side edges and carefully lift it to release it. There is no need to remove it completely, just move it forward to avoid bother. Now remove the plastic center console around the handbrake by first working from the rear to release it and lifting it until the brake lever passes. Also in this case it is not necessary to remove it completely but, paying attention to the connected cables, it can be stowed in front of the passenger seat. At this point we notice that at the base of the handbrake lever, on the front, we find a nut. By acting on it, with a 10 wrench, we can adjust the brake force, increasing it by turning the nut clockwise, or decreasing it by turning it counterclockwise. Once adjusted, the center console can be repositioned first, pressing lightly to engage it, and then the profile of the gearbox base.
