Removing the Center Console of Your Car

Model: BMW Serie 3 E90, E92, E91 - Years 2005-2013
Part: Center console tunnel

I will explain how to remove the center console of your car in simple steps, ideally with some experience. If your car has a manual transmission, put it in neutral; if it has an automatic transmission, shift to Drive (D). Once done, the procedure is the same in both cases. Pull the knob upward with force. After removing it, use a trim removal tool to take off the shift bezel to access the next steps of the removal. In the case of an automatic transmission, disconnect the connectors from the transmission. After that, using a trim tool, pry up on your console. Once detached from the base, you need to disconnect the connector from the radio control switch and the onboard computer. After this, you will have completed your work.
