How to Permanently Disable Start & Stop on Our BMW 330i Using the Bimmercode App

In this video, you can see how to permanently disable Start & Stop on our BMW 330i using the Bimmercode app and our OBD2 adapter: you need to have the Bimmercode app on your smartphone. Purchase the full version (about $85) and an OBD2 adapter, which you will connect to the port under the dashboard on the driver's side. Go to the module by typing "BDC" OR "DME" for older models; search for the option "Automatic Engine Start/Stop function": set it to "disabled" and then "store last state". Apply the changes by selecting "code" in the upper right corner. To confirm, restart the car and check that the Start & Stop button remains off, without the yellow icon on the dashboard. This modification is valid for all BMWs with Start & Stop from Series 1 to X7 from 2010 onwards. On some very recent models, it may also be necessary to adjust the DSC module.
