In this video, you will see the maintenance of a ZF 6HP26 automatic transmission on a BMW 320D after a limited number of miles. Despite this, the transmission fluid was already worn, demonstrating the importance of fluid replacement on this type of transmission.

Signs of wear are noted inside the oil pan, and the fluid is saturated with ferrous material. Therefore, the fluid is drained using the specific connection (as this is obviously a workshop).

The flushing can only be performed with the appropriate machinery, which introduces specific additives that will enhance performance. New fluid is added to the transmission, and a road test is conducted by the owner, who does not even notice the shift from one gear to another.
