What to Do When the Courtesy Light on a Cadillac XT5 Does Not Work

If you notice a malfunction of the courtesy light inside the vehicle's cabin, the first thing to do is check the power settings located near the rearview mirror; if the switch is "off," the lights will not turn on. If the switch is "on," then check the integrity of the protective fuse. The fuse is located in the fuse box in the rear trunk and is the one located at the top right of the box rated at 5 Amperes. Check the integrity of the fuse and replace it if necessary.
