In this tutorial, you will see how to remove the tailgate panel on the Chevrolet Suburban, a very simple and quick operation. First, go to the back of the vehicle, then open the tailgate glass and, using a small flathead screwdriver, remove the two indicated plastic rivets.

Next, grasp the inner trim, pry along the perimeter, and disengage it from the tailgate. At this point, you can remove the bolt located inside the handle with a 7mm socket wrench, take off the panel, and install any replacement part if needed.
