How do you replace the gear shift gaiter on your Chevrolet Matiz? This video shows you how to do it: use a plastic lever to detach the trim around the leather gaiter on the centre tunnel (disconnect any power connectors if present), then remove the gaiter from the plastic. To reassemble: fit the new leather gaiter onto the frame where the clips are located, then insert it onto the rod on the centre tunnel, and secure the plastic trim on the same. Finally, test the movement of the rod on the centre tunnel to ensure the parts are correctly fitted.
