If the key of your second generation Chevrolet Traverse (year 2025) no longer works and you want to replace the small button battery located inside it yourself, then all you have to do is follow the steps described below. First, purchase a new CR2450 battery and then remove the emergency key from inside the cover and use it to remove the cover itself. Now that you have access to the exhausted battery, you can remove it and replace it with the new one. Finally, reassemble the protective cover and insert the emergency key inside.
