To replace the battery in your Chevrolet Traverse key, you only need a small flathead screwdriver. Follow these steps. First, press the button located on the side of the cover and simultaneously pull out the physical emergency key. Then, use the flathead screwdriver to open the cover and access the button battery that needs to be replaced. Remove the old battery and insert the new one (model CR2032), and finally, reassemble the cover, making sure to insert the emergency key as well.
