To replace the battery inside the key of your first-generation Chevrolet Traverse (2009-2017), follow these steps. Fortunately, this is a very simple operation that anyone can do. First, take a flathead screwdriver and use it to remove the back cover of the key in just a few seconds.

Once you have done that, remove the old battery and replace it with a new one, ensuring that it is fully compatible (model CR2032). Finally, reattach the back cover.
