Dashboard Disassembly: Instrument Cluster

Model: Chevrolet Aveo MK 1, T200 - Years 2002-2011

First, detach the trim surrounding the instrument cluster by pulling it forward. Then, unscrew the two screws located at the top of the instrument cluster and subsequently detach the upper cover. At this point, unscrew the 4 fastening screws of the instrument cluster (two at the bottom and two at the back) and pull it forward to extract it from its housing; then disconnect the connectors attached to it and place it on the workbench. To carry out repairs on the instrument cluster, disassemble it by detaching the front glass and the rear plastic cover (be careful not to damage the plastic fastening tabs).
Once the repair is complete, reassemble everything and proceed in reverse for reinstallation.
