How to Remove the Door Trim on a 2005 Chevrolet Silverado

Model: Chevrolet Silverado MK 1 - Years 1998-2007
Part: Car door

Today, we will explain how to remove the side trim from the door of a 2005 Chevrolet Silverado. To facilitate the removal of the trim, use a heat gun to warm it up and remove it. With a rubber pad, smooth out the area where the trim adhesive remains, and using a microfiber cloth, remove the excess. Once all adhesive residue is removed, clean the area with soap and water, dry the part, and paint the door. Repeat the same steps on the left door trim. If the adhesive does not come off, you can use a 3-degree solvent.
