Removing the door panel of a Chevrolet Captiva. Before starting the disassembly work, disconnect the battery terminals located in the boot. Remove the plastic trim at the corner of the window (if present) using a lever. Unscrew the securing screws located in the plastic handle and in the area of the door opening lever. Once all screws are removed, use a lever to detach all the plastic clips securing the door panel. Pull the door panel away with your hands, disconnect any power connectors and release cable; remove it and disconnect the power connector.
