To reset the service light on a first-generation Chevrolet Aveo, turn off the ignition and turn the key to the ON position without starting the engine. Within five seconds, press the accelerator pedal fully three times in a row, then turn off the ignition.

After a few seconds, turn the ignition back on to check if the warning has disappeared. This procedure is not applicable to all versions of the first series.

If the warning remains on, consult the specific vehicle instructions. The reset should only be performed after the scheduled maintenance.
