As shown in this tutorial, replacing the remote battery on a Chevrolet Express van is a very simple and quick operation. You will need a replacement CR2032 battery and a small flathead screwdriver.

Start by locating the slot at the bottom of the remote near the ring, then insert the screwdriver into the slot and pry open the two halves. Once fully opened, remove the internal circuit, take out the old battery, and insert the new one in the correct orientation.
