This guide shows how to replace the fuel pump on a Chevrolet Optra Mk1. First, lift the rear seat cushion and remove the inspection cover from the fuel tank. Using a screwdriver or a pick, unscrew the locking ring of the pump and disconnect the electrical connector and fuel lines. Remove the pump assembly and allow the fuel to drain. Install the new pump and secure everything in place. Turn the ignition on a few times to properly fill the pump before starting the engine.
