The guide shows how to perform the Chevrolet Optra Mk1 fuel pump replacement. The first operation to carry out is to lift the rear seat sofa and remove the lid of the fuel tank inspection compartment. Using a screwdriver or a probe, unscrew the pump locking ring nut and remove the electrical connector and the hydraulic hoses. Remove the pump assembly and drain the fuel. Install the new element and secure everything in place. Turn the instrument panel on a few times to get the pump to fill properly before starting the engine.
