How to Reset the Service Light on the Chevrolet Aveo

Now we will discover how to correctly reset the service (or maintenance) light on the Chevrolet Aveo. First, ensure all the car doors are properly closed and that the engine is off. Next, insert the key and turn on the ignition only. Locate the 'Menu' button on the left stalk of the steering wheel and press it multiple times until you see 'Vehicle Information' on the mini display of the onboard computer. Scroll down using the knob and select 'Remaining Oil Life'. At this point, press and hold the 'Set/Clr' button and the brake pedal simultaneously. Release them a few seconds later and turn off the ignition. The reset is complete.
