Follow this procedure to disassemble and replace the battery of the Chevrolet Captiva key remote. First, take the remote in hand and use a thin object to pry open the side slot, separating the two halves of the casing.

Next, remove the old battery from the circuit board, as shown in the video. Now, install the new battery of the correct type (in this case, a CR 1620 3V); insert it in the correct orientation and reassemble the remote, following the video tutorial to the end!
