The guide shows how to replace the automatic transmission lever of the Chevrolet Suburban gmt 900. The first operation to perform is to remove the panel on the left side of the dashboard and unscrew the screws on the lower part of the dashboard panel using a screwdriver star. Using a 10 mm spanner, unscrew the brake release lever fixing bolt. Remove the lower dashboard panel. Remove the steering adjustment handle and remove the lower and upper steering panel; the lower one may be held in place with screws. Disconnect the orange cable connector and cable clips. With a Torx T30 screwdriver, unscrew the lever fixing screw and extract the piece. Install the new element and put everything back in place. Check the correct functioning of the spare part.
