How to Disable the "OnStar" Service on a Chevrolet Spark

This video explains how to disable the "OnStar" system on the Chevrolet Spark: this system is a security feature that tracks your location to assist you in case of difficulty. However, not everyone likes being tracked everywhere, so let's see how to disable the system. You will need a flathead screwdriver. Start the vehicle: a green LED will light up above the mirror. Under the driver's seat, you will find a couple of different cables; push down the tab to remove one, then release and remove the other cable as well. Now restart the vehicle and see that the LED is red. For safety, also disconnect the other plug found under the driver's seat. When you start the car now, the light should be completely off.
