In this video tutorial, we can see how to replace the cabin air filter in a Chevrolet Malibu, working independently. The first thing to do is to purchase a new cabin air filter from an authorized dealer. Afterwards, we need to get inside the vehicle, open the glove compartment, and remove all the material inside it. The cabin filter can be found behind the glove compartment, so we need to open the drawer and remove the side cable that holds it, press the sides of the drawer inward to release it from its pins. Once the compartment is fully lowered, we need to disconnect the electrical cable and then remove the cover of the filter box, extract the old filter, and replace it with the new one, inserting it following the arrows indicated on the filter itself. Reinstall the filter cover.
